Owners Tim and Barb Cerny welcome you to take in the Fountainhead Auto and Fashion collection.
The Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum is one of the premier vintage and classic car museums in the United States. Our collection includes over 115 beautifully restored and preserved vehicles and thousands of vintage fashions from the 18th to the mid-20th centuries, over 80 of them are on display. You’ll also find scores of exhibits, artifacts, photographs and archival videos that tell the story of America’s early love affair with the automobile and Alaska’s early motoring history.

Currently: April 1 through May 5: Sundays and Wednesdays, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Summer 2024 Hours (May 5th to mid-September) Seven days a week, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Winter 2024 -2025 Hours (mid-Sept to mid-May) Sundays and Wednesdays, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

$30 per person. 12 person min, during business hours.
Private Group Openings & Tours
The museum will open for customizable, special tours when requested. Please see tour page for more information.
School/Educational Tours

When Visiting The Museum:
• If you're healthy, you can choose to wear a mask or not.
• All visitors should practice social distancing with museum staff at all times.
• Visitors must mask or postpone their visit and stay home if they are feeling sick. Thank you!
Our Location
FROM EAST FAIRBANKS:
Head north on the Steese Expressway to College Road.
Turn left on College Road and drive 1.2 miles to Margaret Avenue.
Turn right on Margaret Avenue and take the first right on Wedgewood Drive. Then follow the directional signs to the Auto Museum.
FROM WEST FAIRBANKS:
Head east on Johansen Expressway to the College Road exit.
Turn left onto College Road and drive .2 miles and then take a right on Margaret Avenue.
Take the first right on Wedgewood Drive and follow the directional signs to the Auto Museum.

GETTING HERE BY BUS:

Parking Information
GENERAL PARKING
Parking is free for our visitors.
MOTOR COACH PARKING
Passenger drop-off and entrance is at the south end of the museum and complimentary motor coach parking is provided.
CAR CLUB PARKING
When requested and arranged in advance, car club groups will receive reserved parking for those members arriving in vintage autos. The location of the reserved parking will be determined by staff.
