American Made Antique Automobiles | Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum

BLOG UPDATE!

The 30,000 square foot antique auto and fashion museum displays more than 55 American made antique automobiles.

1933 Auburn Model 12-161A Custom Boattail Speedster

Each illustrates a significant or unusual development in American automotive technology or design. Highlights of the collection include early steam, electric and hybrid cars, Alaska's first automobile, one-of-a-kind and sole-surviving automobiles, a cycle car, the United States’ first V16-powered auto, midget racers, and the first American production car with front-wheel drive. All cars can be viewed in the newly released book, "Fountainhead Collection: Vintage Treads & Threads."

Join the Adopt-A-Car program! It doesn't involve money, instead, individuals or families "adopt" an automobile(s) and polish it. It's a great way to learn more about the automobiles and their history.

“Great museum full of beautiful cars, photos, and clothing. I found this hidden treasure for my husband and enjoyed it as much. There is a lot to see, the cars are gorgeous, the clothing is displayed on mannequins or in cases, and is spectacular. They have videos to view, photos with descriptions on the wall. Well worth a visit if you are at all in to antiques.”
