Volunteer

Would you like to be part of our wonderful volunteer crew? You can choose from a variety of positions including tour guide, car detailer, youth educator, exhibit set-up crew, mechanic’s assistant, or car show volunteer.

Volunteers are required to attend our free docent training program. This course includes an orientation to the museum plus classroom sessions covering the history of the automobile, Alaska automotive history, the impact of the automobile on our culture, our collections, museum policies, and how to lead tours and interpret artifacts.
